Liz Haywood-Sullivan: "A sister painting to Walk With Me, this painting explores the same image in a different composition. I started this painting by using a unique underpainting style where I used three values of yellow for the sunlit areas and three values of blue for the shadowed areas. If you look closely you will see bits of these colors popping through. It is interesting to see how you can create a different mood with a compositional change of emphasis. This painting feels much deeper in the woods as the trees are larger and hover over your head."
