Vose Galleries is pleased to present Gilded Elements, an exhibition showcasing over a dozen paintings by renowned egg tempera painter Gary Milek. In each of these superlative examples, Milek combines his passion for nature and the fine arts, finding inspiration among both the distant hills and the expressive foliage found outside his doorstep of Windsor County, Vermont. Using the 15th-century medium of egg tempera paint and practice of gilding with gold leaf, Milek purely captures his majestic view of the natural world.
