Exhibition: Summer Sanctuaries

Vose Galleries is pleased to present Summer Sanctuaries, on view in the gallery and on our website from July 6th to August 17th. The exhibition features over twenty-five works capturing some of the familiar warm weather destinations enjoyed by travelers to the Northeast, from the shorelines of Atlantic City and Long Island and the artists’ colonies along Massachusetts’ Cape Cod and Cape Ann, to the lakes and mountains of New York and New Hampshire and the tranquil inlets of mid-coast Maine.

Ah, summer…that wondrous time of year filled with so much promise – of warm days in the garden and cool nights under cloudless skies, of waves lapping sandy beaches and birds flitting among verdant trees. For many, the arrival of summer prompts an escape to our favorite haunts and away from the pressures of the daily grind, if only for a spell.
