In addition to the Provincetown Art Association, Lindenmuth exhibited with the Society of Independent Artists, the Rockport Art Association, the Art Institute of Chicago and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA). Along the Shore was likely shown at PAFA in 1928 and demonstrates the bold color palette and interesting array of geometric shapes often found in both Lindenmuth’s paintings and prints.
