Liz Haywood-Sullivan: "This late fall painting is from my first painting session outside since the pandemic began 8 months earlier. My first chance to paint with some dear friends, yet still very cognizant of masking up and keeping our distance. What a pleasure to be outside and gather new images and ideas. This view offered so many opportunities to choose from. I decided to focus on the play of light dancing through the trees down onto the surface of the water - so much fun to paint."
